Delight & Discipline

We are almost 2 weeks into our "a-psalm-a-day" corporate effort. How many of us are feeling the strain of DISCIPLINE more than the DELIGHT of hearing God's voice?

His grace to propel us towards seeking Him. Yet our discipline to press in to seek Him is our assurance of continuing delight, towards experiencing the depths in Christ.

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."(Jeremiah 29:13)

As we reach this point, it is so important to know that delight is a promise and eventual certainty. But the only way there, is for us to develop discipline to press in.
  • Delight drives us to develop Discipline
  • Discipline drives us to seek breakthrough to the next Delight

Child of God, let's dig in further whenever we feel like giving up, so that we will add self-control and perseverance to our character.

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ." (2 Peter 1:5-8)
